This transparency is part of our mission to raise awareness of the textile value chain and defend ethical and circular fashion practices.

For us, transparency and traceability are an integral part of our sustainability approach, which is constantly evolving as part of our initiatives. Partnering with Renoon was a crucial step in achieving this, as their tools facilitate the life-cycle assessment of our products and ensure supply chain compliance, which is essential for communicating these details to our stakeholders.

Our commitment to this path began in 2022 with an internal assessment to understand our environmental footprint. Using Renoon's tools, we can measure carbon emissions, energy use, water consumption and land use at all stages of our supply.

Thanks to Renoon's tools, we have achieved remarkable results, including significant reductions in carbon emissions and significant advances in improving material selections.

OUR PARTNERS

As a brand, we value every role within our textile and apparel supply chain, recognizing their contributions to our day-to-day operations, which have kept our business running to this day. Our in-house manufacturing plays an important role in enhancing the transparency of our brand. With control in our own hands, we have made most of our supply chain easily traceable.

We are also committed to raising the environmental performance standards of our supply chain. This commitment is reflected in the selection and evaluation of suppliers to ensure compliance with local regulations. Our supplier code of conduct and supplier evaluation form are evidence of this. They include six key points: business ethics, legislation, labor standards, health and safety, suppliers' environmental responsibilities, supplier diversity, equity and inclusion. Failure to comply with these points will result in penalties, up to and including immediate withdrawal from our supply chain.

OUR WHOLESALE CLIENTS

Together with our wholesale and retail partners, we strive to foster a more transparent industry by prioritizing traceability in our supply chain. This joint effort gives our customers access to comprehensive information on the journey of our products. As part of these close collaborations, we actively strive to provide clear information on the material impact of our products and packaging.

In addition to this transparency, we work with our partners on a make-to-order production system. This means that we only manufacture to customer specifications, to avoid wasteful overproduction.

CARBON EMISSIONS

Following our product lifecycle analysis, carried out with our partner Renoon, we have identified the stages of our supply chain most at risk in terms of carbon emissions. Fabric production, which includes weaving, knitting and fabric finishing processes such as dyeing and printing, presents the highest risk. This is followed by the transportation of goods from upstream sources to our manufacturing facilities in Indonesia.

As a result of this study, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and addressing climate risks throughout our value chain. We are implementing a sustainability framework that is aligned with the French Accord/European Commission and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), giving us clear guidance on how to reduce emissions.

PACKAGING AND WASTE REDUCTION

1. Packaging Materials
All our products are developed with a view to limiting their impact on the environment. This also applies to our packaging, which is often a source of waste.That's why we are actively switching to more environmentally-friendly solutions. For example, the plastic packaging used to send products to our partners has been replaced by a GRS-certified polybag containing at least 50% recycled materials.We no longer use single-use tissue paper for packaging and have replaced it with reusable cotton pouches.The paper on the hang tags has been replaced by FSC-certified paper.Furthermore, in our production system, we minimize single-use packaging and try to reuse as much as possible the packaging used in the transportation of our goods and during the production process.

2. Waste Reduction
We are aware of the environmental impact of our waste. So, from design to production and beyond, we have implemented measures to minimize waste at every stage, particularly at the end of our products' lifecycles. During production, most of the waste we produce is fabric, which has been a problem worldwide.Our goal is to divert 100% of this waste from landfill by 2024, by recycling and upcycling the fabrics that we can reclaim or composting the smallest parts. For finished products, we replace single-use packaging with sustainable and reusable options or choose certified materials whose production reduces environmental impact and are recyclable.

3. Recycling
With our partnership with an Indonesian fabric recycling company, we can convert our discarded textiles into high-quality yarns and soundproof insulation through mechanical recycling process.This strategic collaboration aims to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, while also reducing our carbon footprint. Recycling fabric waste enables us to create a closed-loop system that promotes environmental responsibility and sustainability. Since July 2023, our partner has transformed our fabric wastes into 600 insulators for local constructions.

4. Composting
Through a collaborative effort with our partner, we aim to compost a portion of our textile waste, allowing it to transform into nutrient-rich soil. This partnership is part of our commitment to reduce negative impact and regenerate the environment.
Since June 2023, we begun testing the soil components, resulting from the composting of our fabrics, for their potentially harmful chemicals and inorganic matter using ISO standards and regulations as benchmarks for good compost quality.

5. Helping NGOs for the Planet
Our current actions to create more sustainable collections and reducing our impact on the environment are not new, and we have been working for several years to reduce our environmental footprint. It is in this context that we have supported One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization working for global reforestation, through 2 donations (in February 2022 and January 2023) which have enabled the planting of 2,000 trees around the world. In the future, we want to do everything we can to make these small gestures even bigger.
